Megalong is hoping to establish a Trust which can administer the concept to enable it to remain in the hands of the future. The trust will cover:

• Education
• Conservation
• Administration
• Object Cataloguing
• Promotions and Fundraising

• Volunteers are a dedicated band of people who love  Australian  Heritage and who are committed to its ongoing maintenance and growth along with the collation and care of the many artefacts that preserve the character and history of  Australia's important  past

• People who are ready for a chat or demonstrating some of the fading crafts such as timber cutting, shingle making, spinning, weaving, knitting,  candle making.

• The chance to dress in period costume, talking to visitors, cleaning displays and generally adding character and warmth to venue of the which highlights Old Days Old Ways -Living in Bush of the 1800’s
